Listening with the Body
A Day Retreat | March 21, 2026
𐚁°˖⋆
Join Emma and Talitha for an intimate, trauma-informed day retreat at Shakti Ranch, nestled in the quiet beauty of the Malibu canyons. Surrounded by sweeping views, birdsong, and the steady presence of the horses, this day invites you to slow down and reconnect with yourself, nature, and the people in your life. Through gentle, guided facilitation and time interacting with the horses on the ground, we’ll explore common relational challenges such as patterns of closeness and distance, communication struggles, and the ways stress or past experiences can shape how we show up with others. The retreat offers spacious time with the horses, meaningful connection with a small community of likeminded participants, and moments to breathe in nature and reflect. Lunch is provided.

The Level 2 Equine-Assisted Learning Certification is a 12-day immersive, in-person training beginning April 10, 2026, led by Rose Mary Riggs and Emma Barnosky. The course includes experiential modules in equine somatics, nervous system regulation, emotional and environmental attunement, facilitation skills, sustainable business practices, and ends with student-led workshops.
